Wordless Wednesday – 5 Generations Tribute January 30, 2013

This post is not entirely wordless. :)

This is a picture we took shortly after Naomi was born.
My Great Grandma went home to heaven a week ago today. We knew the day was coming but it is still tough.
Louise Krueger lived to be 98 years old. Through her declining health, she remained quite feisty! I had not been to visit her since this picture was taken but thought of her often. I now wish that I would have made the time to visit her more.

We love you “Ma”! We miss you.

This is so sweet! We have a great grandma still alive. She is 91. She hates to have her picture taken so I don’t have a good one but as soon as my new baby gets here, I am forcing her. Don’t want to miss the chance.

Stopped by from the links on the CD FB group!

My Great Grandma didn’t really like pictures much either – she couldnt see very well and always asked “What are we doing now? – what do you want me to do?” and things like that. We also took a picture of our left hands together on Great Grandma’s lap. It is one of my favorites especially with our wedding rings and everything. fun to see the differences in our 5 hands of the 5 generations. Definitely get that picture!! I only wish we would have gotten more pictures with her.
